SSC CGL 2017 Notification Exam Date Vacancy List | ssc.nic.in

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Notification 2017 declared is all set to release the official notification for SSC CGL 2017. The notification date is not decided by the Commission. Candidates can expect the CGL 2017 Notification in a couple of days. SSC will release the notification on its official website ssc.nic.in. The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I Exam 2017 is to be held from June 19 to July 2. But, due to the delay in the release of SSC CGL 2017 notification, the Commission might postpone the exam dates.

Candidates are eagerly waiting for the update of Combined Graduate Level Recruitment 2017 of the Staff Selection Commission. Every time the notification is released on time, this year the Commission has delayed the notification due to certain unavoidable reasons.

In CGL Exam, there are 2 posts in IT Department and these are Tax Assistants (Group C) and Inspector of Income Tax ( Group B).

And these Jobs are created as a result of demonetization, as IT Department is involved in Drive against Black money. To, implement the Tax Regime more efficiently, Department needs more people on its rolls.

2) Customs and Excise Department : Similarly, Customs and Excise Departments need more staff to implement its ambitions Goods and Service Tax regime and it will result in creation of 41000+ New Jobs in the department and this will take the department’s existing strength of 50600 to 91700.

And again, Recruitment for Customs and Excise Department is done through SSC CGL and here we have following posts in SSC CGL

Haryana Courts Clerk Expected Cut Off Marks 2017: The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts under High Court of Punjab & Haryana (SSSC) on behalf of the District and Sessions Judges of the State of Haryana pre-stipulated Minimum Qualifying Marks / Minimum Percentile Marks for the Objective Type Written Test are mentioned in the Table here under that reads out as “33% Marks in each Subject but no Candidate shall be considered to have qualified the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test unless he / she obtains Minimum Qualifying 40% Marks In Aggregate of both Subjects”.

There is a provision for Negative Marking in Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions. For every Wrong Answer to the each Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions submitted by the Candidates, ¼th of 0.25% the Marks allocated to the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions would be deducted. The Multiple Choice Questions not attempted by the Candidates shall be awarded / will receive Neither Credit nor Discredit No Credit Or Discredit.

Selection Criteria for High Court of Punjab & Haryana Clerks Examination 2017 : Thereafter, out of the Total Candidates who qualify the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination, the number of the Candidates, as decided by the Hon’ble Central Recruitment Committee (CRC), may be called for a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), i.e., to assess the Proficiency of the Candidates in operation of Computer (Word Processing and Spread Sheets), which is mandatory but the Marks of this Test would not be counted towards the Final Merit as the Computer Proficiency Test is only of Qualifying Nature. The Computer Proficiency Test shall consist of Two Parts. In Part-I (i.e., Word Processing Test), the Candidates shall have to qualify the Computer Typewriting Test (CTT) in English at the speed of 30 Words Per Minute In Part-II, the Candidates will have to qualify the Spread Sheet Test (SST).

The number of the Candidates, as decided by Hon’ble Central Recruitment Committee, who qualify the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test (OMRWT) as well as the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), will be called for Personal Interaction and Verification of the Original Documents / Certificates / Testimonials.

Final Select List of the Qualified Candidates will be prepared strictly based on Merit in the Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test. The Name(s) of the Candidate(s) Higher in Merit would be recommended for Appointment as per the Number of the Vacancies to be filled.

The Minimum Qualifying Marks is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/BC/PH at the discretion of the Commission.
