DU PG 2017 – Mode of Admission

The admission in the PG courses will be available in two modes. These modes are explained below but the candidates should note that these are not applicable for inter-disciplinary or professional courses.

Mode-1-Merit Based: This is a direct admission medium. As per it, the candidates will be granted admission on the basis of their merit. 50% of seats will be filled through this medium but only with the students from University of Delhi. For outside university candidates this mode is not applicable.

Mode-2-DU Entrance Exam: The University will also conduct the entrance exam to fill seats in PG courses. It will be held to fill the remaining 50% seats. Admission through this medium will only be granted if the candidates will qualify the entrance and perform well in Interview/Group Discussion round as well.

Eligibility Criteria: You must have a

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline with 50 % marks and having at least participation in the Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India
  • Bachelor degree in physical education with 45 % marks or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory/elective subject.
  • Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (i.e. trained physical education teachers/coaches)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/Inter University/ State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

Admissions to the UG & PG courses will depend on the Merit List to be prepared on Qualifying Marks basis. Candidates register for the UG/ PG (Non Professional) BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MCom etc courses will be further Merit Listed on Merit basis, keeping Reservation policy through the Affiliated Colleges.

Merit Lists: Two separate lists would be prepared by the college on the basis of merit in view of the percentile & reservation policy of the Government of Rajasthan. First merit list will consist the names of the candidates against the total number of allotted seats in respective course. The second list (waiting list) would also consist of the names, category, percentage, supportive document attached, followed by first list in the descending order of merit against the total number of allotted seats. This list shall be the waiting list.

Separate merit lists shall be prepared for UG and PG courses and the admission will be given strictly on the basis of merit of the candidate and as per his/her choice for the course.

DU LLB LLM Admissions Entrance Test 2017: The Delhi University (DU) is going to release the admission notification for Bachelor of Laws (LLB) & Master of Laws (LLM) for the academic session 2017-2019. The online registration will starts soon in the official website.

Eligibility for Admission for Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.):

The Eligibility for admission into LL.B. Degree Course is as follows:
(i) For General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates, Graduate / Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as Equivalent by the University of Delhi with Minimum 50% Marks or an Equivalent Grade Point in Aggregate in either of them. However, the Cut-off Marks for admission of OBC Candidates shall be up to 10% less than the Marks notified for the General Candidates in the Delhi University LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test.

(ii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates will be allowed to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Category. (In compliance of the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in P.V. Indiresan Vs. Union of India and Others).

(iii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates shall be allowed to Widows / Wards of the Defence Personnel (CW) Category.

(iv) Relaxation of up to 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates would be allowed in respect of the Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) / Physically Handicapped (PH) Category on the Recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed Procedure.

Procedure for Admission: Strictly in order of Merit prepared on the basis of the Candidates’ respective Performance and Marks in the Entrance Test and Counseling.

Eligibility for Admission:
The Eligibility Criteria for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Candidates is as given in the DU Ordinance.

(i) For General Category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) Candidates, a Three-Years’ / Five-Years’ Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as Equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 50% Marks or an Equivalent Grade Point in Aggregate. However, the Cut-off Marks for admission of the OBC Candidates shall be up to 10% less than the Marks notified for the General Category Candidates in the Entrance Test.

(ii) The Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) having a Three Years’ / Five-Years’ LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as Equivalent by the University of Delhi with at least 45% Marks or an Equivalent Grade Point in Aggregate in either of them.

(iii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for General Category Candidates will be allowed for the Widows / Wards of Ex-Servicemen / Serving Personnel (CW) Category.

(iv) Relaxation of up to 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Category Candidates will be allowed to the Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) Physically Handicapped (PH) Category on the recommendations of the Medical Board as per the prescribed Procedure

Master of Laws (LL.M.):
(i) The Eligibility Criteria for General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Candidates is as given in the DU Ordinance.

(ii) Relaxation of 5% Marks in the Minimum Eligibility prescribed for the General Candidates will be allowed to Other Backward Classes (OBC) Category. (In compliance with the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in P.V. Indiresan Vs. Union of India and Others).

The Controller of Examinations shall declare both Date/s for the UD LL.B. / LL.M. Entrance Test 2017 as well as downloading of the e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets, likely to commence Minimum One Week before commencement of the Entrance Test.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations shall declare both Result and Merit Lists for admission into Bachelor of Laws & Master of Laws Courses; and Counseling Schedule likely to be notified towards June-end 2017.

Delhi Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Class 6th 9th Admissions 2017: The Govt of NCT Delhi Directorate of Education is going to commence the non plan admission to 6th class, 8th class & 9th class from 1st April 2017 for this academic year 2017-2018. The Directorate of Education School has issued the notification for the admissions of 6th class & 9th class under non plan admissions of this year 2017.  The online submit applications starts from 17-04-2017 for the candidates who are going to take admissions to the 6th 8th & 9th Classes.

Registration Starts from 17.04.2017 (Monday) to 29.04.2017 (Saturday)

The parents will provide the following details while filling the application form online:
1. Personal detail like name, Father’s, mother’s name & residential address.
2. Aadhaar Number/UID of the child
3. Bank Account Number of the child along with name of the Bank’s Branch & its IFSC.
4. Date of Birth of Child

Procedure of Non Plan Admission in Delhi Govt Schools: Admission of those children who have passed out previous class (class V-VII) from a recognized school & fulfill the age limit asked by the Admission Cell will be provided to the Neighborhood Sarvodaya Schools.

The Zonal DDE will ensure allocation of the specific residential blocks of an area to a particular school is done in line with the admission plan. It should also be ensured that all the blocks of the neighboring area of the School are covered. (For Admissions to the Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas Situated at Various Localities shall be based on the Entrance Test. Candidates should take reference from detailed advt notification in concerned regard)

Parents have to keep the following details ready before filling the application form for registration:

1. Aadhaar Number/ UID of the child.
2. Date of Birth of the child.
3. Mother’s & Father’s name of the child.
4. Category- SC/ST/OBC/General.
5. Residential Address with pin code- without pin code the registration form cannot be resubmitted online.
6. Please see the entire list of Schools in all Clusters.
7. Parents should choose any one Cluster carefully according to their place of residence.
8. Parents have to give preference of Schools in one Cluster only carefully.
9. Parents should carefully select the School based on the gender of the Child i.e.,
for a girl child Girls or Co-Ed and for a boy child Boys or Co-Ed gendered School must be selected.

10. As far as possible the School will be allotted within the Cluster.
11. Parents will be solely responsible for the correctness of the information submitted online by them in the registration form.
12. Mere submission of online application form does not guarantee the admission in Govt.
Schools as admission will be done through online draw of lots as per number of seats available and infrastructure of the school.
13. Admission to selected children through online draw of lots will be confirmed only after the physical verification of requisite documents by the concerned School.
14. The students once allotted the school or admitted in school will not be changed or transferred to other school.
15. Please take print of the registration form after submission as acknowledgement. Reprint option is also available.

For Class VI: Completed the age of 10 yrs but less than 12 as on 31-03-2017

Delhi Sarvodaya Schools 6th 9th Class Application Form 2017: Application of Admission from individual is to be received by Head of the School of catchment Area where it is presented by the Parent/Guardian under proper, receipt. A record of all applications received is to be maintained by each Head of School. The same is to be forwarded to cluster In-charge within two working days of the receipt of the application.

The list is to-‘be finalized by the Committee and sent to the Zonal DOE for information. If the Zonal DOE has any objection he/she would inform the committee within two working days, otherwise the list would be deemed approved. In case of any difference of opinion in the Committee, the case should be sent to Zonal DOE.

Delhi Sarvodaya Schools Class 6-8 Admissions 2017 Merit List:  
•The list finalized by the Committee will be forwarded along with the applications to the allocated school.
•The list of students granted admission in Schools under a cluster will be displayed on the Notice Board in all schools under that cluster, so that the parents can know about the status of admission of their ward.
•The Committee will ensure that the list of students granted admission is displayed in all Government Schools in the cluster in accordance with the above schedule.
•Allocation of schools should be guided by convenience of students and not restricted by Zonal/District boundaries. That is to say, if two schools are close to each other distance-wise and they should ideally be allocated for the purpose of admission, then they should be allotted even if they are located in two different

Schools as admission will be done through online module as per number of seats available in a particular Govt. school. The University of Delhi (DU) has issued the Admission notification 2017 for the Under Graduate courses. The admission procedure is through both online and offline application process for the admissions into UG course. Applications through online and offline registration starts from the month of May 2017 to June 2017, Offline applications should submit their applications at the specified centres. For the admissions into UG Courses the candidates have to make registration through Online or Offline up to Second/Third Week of June 2017.

Delhi University UG Admissions 2017-18: The University of Delhi (DU) shall be provided the admissions in the various Under Graduate Courses comprised of the faculties Arts, Commerce, Science, along with Business, Technology (B.Tech IT), Education & Library etc. For Admissions in the UG (Arts, Commerce, Science). Courses session 2016-17, through the all University affiliated colleges admission committee has scheduled the Admission criteria & has dispatched the detailed notification.

Candidates have to logging into the website www.du.ac.in for online registration.
Candidates have to pay the application fee of RS 100/-(GEN) through Online payment.
Offline Application forms will be obtained & submitted at the Centres allotted by the DU

Delhi University Entrance Test 2017: Delhi University Admission Committee (DUAC) is all set to make a debut with hosting Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2017 onwards for administering Admission into different Streams of the Under Graduate Courses (UGCs). The Admission Committee, University of Delhi, is also gearing up for ensuring that the Marks obtained by the Students at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) under the Central Board of Secondary Education / Indian School Certificate Examination and other Boards are verified with the CD while filling in the Online Application Forms. Extra-Curricular-Activities (ECA) will also be offered a space in the Online Application Forms

The University of Delhi shall release Detailed Notification in March 2017 thereby initiating the Online Registration. The Admission Committee shall introduce Centralized Admission Form (CAF) for admission involving as many as 68 Colleges, which shall also participate in the both Entrance Test and Admission Process.

Procedure for Admission: The National Informatics Center / National Information Center set to be a Nodal Agency on behalf of the University of Delhi, to host University of Delhi Entrance Test (UDET), shall draw up Category-wise Merit List based on the Candidates’ Marks at the Entrance Examination; hence, paving the way for the Entrance Test Based Merit List, thus, setting aside the Cut-off List for the first time. However, the Candidates belonging to the Reserved Community shall be allowed Relaxation in the Marks.

Utkal University PG Entrance Test Admissions 2017: The Utkal University Board of Examination is going to conduct the PGCET 2017 (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test – 2017) examination in the month of June 2017.

Utkal University Online Application form Registration for Post Graduate Entrance Test consists of Two Steps as below:
