SSC Stenographer Grade-C-D Skill Test Admit Card 2016-17: The Staff Selection Commission announced that the Results and Expected Cut Off Marks for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2016. The Skill Test call letters are placed at the official website for Stenographer Grade C & Grade D candidates. The Commission shall shortly declare the exact Dates for Stenographer Dictation and Transcription Test / Skill Test.

The Staff Selection Commission notices that the downloading of electronic Admit Cards / Hall Tickets would be put on the official Website of SSC.

SSC Stenographer Grade-C/D Typing Test Dates 2016-17: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination on 31 July 2016 (31-07-2016) at different Centers all over the country, total 2,09,218 Candidates were appeared to this Examination.

SSC Stenographer Grade-C/D Skill Test 2016-17 : The Candidates will be given one Dictation for 10 Minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 W.P.M. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 W.P.M. for the Post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The Dictation would have to be transcribed on Computer only by the Candidates. The Evaluation of Transcription shall be done Electronically only.

The Transcription Time Duration is as follows:
For Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 50 Minutes (English): 65 Minutes (Hindi)
For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 40 Minutes (English): 55 Minutes (Hindi)

Selection Criteria: Stenographers Grade ‘C’ (Group “B” Non-Gazetted) and Stenographers Grade “D” (Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted). The Commission shall shortlist the Candidates for the Skill Test on the basis of their respective performance in the Written Examination. The Candidates who qualify in the Stenography Skill Test would be recommended for appointment by the Staff Selection Commission on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination.
